01
Markfield Garden
Hackney, London · Community garden
A reclaimed riverside plot turned into a working community garden and propagation hub.
01 / Portfolio · Field Notes
Selected projects from the studio and our community feed. Every site is its own argument — for wildness over neatness, for soil over spec sheet.
Hackney, London · Community garden
A reclaimed riverside plot turned into a working community garden and propagation hub.
Tower Hamlets · Wild planting
Replacing dead lawn with diverse meadow planting along a brutalist housing estate verge.
Shoreditch · Roof garden
A drought-tolerant rooftop meadow on a converted warehouse — habitat first, aesthetic second.
Walthamstow · Education
Co-designed wilderness corner for a primary school — mud, sticks, frogs, fingers.
Bethnal Green · Private garden
Pulled the paving, kept the rubble, planted into the cracks. The garden grew up through it.
East London · Studio yard
Our own propagation yard — the live lab behind every Wild City project.
